The festival, held on March 13th, celebrated the power of visual storytelling in promoting Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) practices.

Cedar Grove Elementary School won in the School Engagement Elementary School Category with a film showcasing how schools can reinforce behavior expectations through acknowledgments. Their video provides a model for fostering positive student behavior by recognizing and celebrating successes.

Tucker High School took home the award for the Instruction High School Category with a film designed to teach students expected behaviors in the cafeteria. Their engaging and informative film serves as a guide for other schools looking to improve student behavior through clear expectations and modeling.

The goal of the PBIS Film Festival is to collect and share videos from a wide range of schools, districts, and countries. This lighthearted competition recognizes films that demonstrate the core PBIS principles and meet technical video production standards.
