GaTPRP

The Georgia Teacher Provider Retention Project (GaTPRP) is a dynamic initiative aimed at bolstering the Georgia Department of Education's efforts to retain new special education teachers. By crafting and implementing top-tier mentoring and induction programs, this project ensures new educators receive the support they need.

In partnership with the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders (GTL) and Kennesaw State University (KSU), alongside the Georgia Learning Resources System (GLRS), GaTPRP offers cutting-edge practices and specialized training in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation.

For the past four years, Metro West GLRS has been at the forefront, empowering new teachers in districts such as Marietta City, Clayton County, and Douglas County Schools.
