The Georgia Department of Education recognizes PBIS schools each year for their level of PBIS implementation.  There are four levels: Installing, Emerging, Operational, and Distinguished.  To learn more about the recognition levels please click here.   We couldn’t be prouder of what our schools and school districts have accomplished.  A testament to this work is that across Metro we grew in our Distinguished Schools from 38 schools last year to 59 schools this year as well as added 57 new PBIS schools!  Congratulations to our hard-working District Coordinators, External Coaches, School PBIS Leadership Teams, and School PBIS Coaches.  Job well done!
