• Candidates must hold a valid T-4 or higher, Clear Renewable Certificate in any teaching, service, or leadership field.
• Copy of GA PSC Educator Certificate
• Candidates must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Supervisor recommendation form. 
• Application must be completed withing 7 days of registration.

• The individual course cost is $350.
• The total cost for all three required courses is $1050.
• Participants will not be allowed to begin a course until payment is received by Metro RESA.

Foundations for Student-Centered Coaching is designed to provide and deepen candidates’ knowledge, skills, and dispositions of the coaching process by examining theory and research in relation to:

• building coaching partnerships with colleagues,
• leading coaching cycles around student learning,
• using intentional communication skills,
• leading data-focused conversations,
• leading collaborative learning teams,
• facilitating group protocols, and
• supporting a coaching culture.

Candidates will explore, discuss, and apply theory and research through assignments, activities and field experiences.

An Investigation of Coaching Learning Teams is designed to provide and deepen candidates’ knowledge, skills, and dispositions of the coaching process by examining theory and research in relation to:

• leading coaching cycles around student learning,
• using facilitation skills and language,
• matching protocols to group work,
• leading data-focused conversations, and
• using elements of effective collaboration.

Candidates will explore, discuss, and apply theory and research through assignments, activities and field experiences.

Performance Based Coaching in Action is a performance-based course designed to provide candidates the opportunity to apply and practice their acquired knowledge, skills, and dispositions related to effective coaching. Candidates will complete specific on-site field experiences with individuals and groups of individuals in relation to:

• coaching individuals, facilitating team protocols,
• evaluating effective student-centered coaching,
• coaching support protocols, and
• evaluating the coaching cycle.

Candidates will explore, discuss and apply theory and research through assignments, activities and field experiences.

• A computer with working camera, audio, and stable internet capabilities compatible with Chrome and supporting the Blackboard platform
